International students and their family members can work while studying in Australia, with relatively few restrictions compared with many other countries. Undergraduate and postgraduate course work students can work part time for 40 hours a fortnight during the semester and full time during university breaks. Research students 鈥� whether enrolled in a master鈥檚 degree, PhD or professional doctorate 鈥� and their families can work unlimited hours.

At UC, all our degrees include Work Integrated Learning, so you'll also gain valuable industry experience while studying. There are numerous post-study workstream options available for international students too, with opportunities for you and your immediate family members to live and work in Australia temporarily for up to five years after you graduate, depending on where you're from.
